CONFIRMED SALSA AND LATIN HIP HOP WORKSHOP
HEY DANCERS,
ANU Dance will be hosting a Salsa and Latin Hip Hop on March 25 (Friday), from 1-3pm at Canberra Dance Theatre.
It will be TAUGHT by Sabina from Subsdance.

Canberra Dance Theater is located at Unildoge (Davey Lodge) carpark near Street Theater and behind Copland.
This workshop is $4 for members and $10. Don't worry if you havent signed up with us yet, just come to this event and sign up :)

HIP HOP WORKSHOP REPORT
HEY DANCERS,
I would just like to say a BIG THANKYOU to everybody that showed up at our workshop and Krissan Pattugalan from PROJECT BEATS.
The workshop consisted of learning various skills and a routine. Everybody learnt how to pop, wave and even how to jerk :P
At the end, everybody had a really fun time expressing themselves in a dance circle, lots of cool and smoothe moves were witnessed.
For those who are interested in dancing with Project Beats further, there is a beginner/intermediate dance class held on Saturdays 6:30-7:30pm
Their studio is called Dynamic Studio in Mitchell, Level 1 Unit 11, 53 - 55 Heffernan Street, Mitchell ACT
I currently attend this class and if you would like a lift there and back from the Uni, contact me and I can take you there and back :)

Our next session is on Friday March 18, at Canberra Dance Theatre 1-3pm, It will consist of a routine for the 1st hour then a jam session for the 2nd hour.

IT IS CONFIRMED, ANU Dance will be hosting the first Hip Hop Workshop on March 13 12-2pm in the Mulitpurpose room TAUGHT by Krissan and Chip from Project Beats.
The Multipurpose Room is located in the sport and rec centre upstairs from the gym.
This workshop is FREE for members, don't worry if you havent signed up with us yet, just come to this event and sign up :)

STALL ON THURSDAY and HIP HOP DANCE CLASSES
HEY EVERYBODY,
Just notifying everybody that there will be an additional ANU Dance stall on Feb 24 this coming Thursday
We still haven't recieved confirmation on when the first workshop will be held, but it will range from March 13 - March 16,
but dont worry we will get the workshop up and running and will still be free for those who signed up on
Market Day and for those who sign up at our stall this coming Thursday :)
We will have a date decided at the end of this week.

MARKET DAY REPORT
Hello Everybody,
We had a lot of members sign up today at our market day stall :) It was unfortunate that out of all the days, it had to rain on market day :( siggh.
Thanks to those you toughed it out in the rain and still signed up with us.
Just because of unfortunate weather, that doesn't mean you can't still sign up with us :)
We plan to host another stall next week, for those who have signed up, invite your friends :D Be on the look out for us!

NEW PRESIDENT AND ALL NEW COMMITEE ON THE BLOCK
Hello Everybody,
My name is Justin Francisco and I will be taking over ANU Dance this year
I plan to have lots and lots of dancing and fun this year! :D For those who haven't danced before or who want to learn, don't be shy.
I myself, was a non-dancer and I started to dance after my very first hip-hop workshop with ANU Dance in 2009.
ANU Dance provided a friendly and fun atmosphere and I am glad to have joined :)
ANU Dance will have a stall on Market Day on the 16th February, be on the look out for us! There will be some free snacks and drinks for new signed members, also
there will be a free workshop on March 11 for those who sign up on market day!
